Here's how I deal with my vinyl bag, which works great and saves room. If there's some kind of loop on the leather bag, it would probably work as well.

That obviously works fine at home, but what do you do on the gig? Usually there's just some kind of little closet where you have to stuff all the cases, your coats, etc.

That's another reason a heavy leather bag might be a problem. My vinyl bag is light and foldable for closets. I just keep it like this at home to save space.

Will it fit a 7/8th bass?
fwiw, I had a 3/4 Reunion Blues bag that I gave to a colleague when I acquired a bigger bass. That Reunion Blues bag is still in phenomenal shape after at least 25 years. $1k is a lot of money, but this is easily a 30-year bag.

Maybe? It fits my American Standard with its giant upper bouts, but only barely.

Do you know how heavy this one is? I guess a bit better than the full leather Kronkhite bag, right? I am thinking about getting the Kronkhite with just the small leather elements like the Reunion Blues. Looks beautiful!

I will weigh it this evening and let you know. It is certainly heavy though and I have to remind myself that it offers much more protection than any other bag I’ve used. One thing I don’t like about it is that shows dirt. If you buy one get a darker color.

17.5#, although it feels heavier. I’d bet that a Mooradian weighs closer to 10#.
In weighting this I emptied the pockets and found a TC BAM 200 head I had forgotten about, an extension cord and……………. It’s much lighter now.
With the pockets empty the bag and my Rodier bass weigh in at 44.8# which is a lot to do stairs, especially after a long, late gig. However, I use a Bass Buggie wheel and that makes for a very safe and secure way to transport my bass. If I have to do stairs I’ll use another bass.
Yes, the old Reunion Blues bag looks virtually identical to the new bag and I would recommend it. I did sew a new Velcro strip on a front pocket but that’s not bad for a 40 year old bag. The leather and handles are plentiful and in just the right places.

That onewheel costs more than the fancy leather bag!

I've gone to many gigs where I bring my skateboard with my bass for the slog from the parking lot many blocks away. Drop the endpin just over the front trucks and away we go. So far I haven't had the nerve to try and ollie it, even with my ALCOA. I'm more worried about getting impaled than the bass!!!!

No Go Pros for anything from my end.

Even though I've spent a lifetime doing pretty adventurous stuff, I generally don't want the rest of the world to find out about it or the places I'm in. 'Besides....it might just be the sounds of crashing and an old guy cussing covered in blood! HA!!!!
