I was wondering is it possible to run 4 8ohm speakers in a Crown xls1000 power amp? if you ran each channel as bridge so the load would be 4ohms per side running total at 2 ohms. is this possible?

You need to swap out the XLS1500 in the bass rig with one of the 1000's![]()
First off - you need a subwoofer(or two) in the future.
I would use one of the 1000's in your bass rig, run the 1500 in stereo (or parallel dual mono) with two of the best speakers on each side for mains (so 4 ohm load per side). I'd just run two monitors on one side of the other XLS1000 (so again a 4 ohm load), that should be plenty for vocals. Or if you really think you need it bridge it into the 4 ohm load as stated above.
