CTS Push-Pull V-V-T series-parallel Jazz wiring

Hiya,

OK, so I'm bored today and looking for something to do to a bass. I've had one of the newer CTS push-pull pots hanging around for a few months but since wiring diagrams for it appear less often than pictures of big foot, I used a combination of the Stew-Mac CTS pot diagram and the Dimarzio series-parallel diagram to come up with my own.

If I can ask the smart wiring people here to take a look and see if I have everything correct for 2 single coil J's with parallel in the down position and series when pulled up.
Be kind on my picture, I don't have a tablet with a stylus, I had to draw it with a crappy mouse using MS paint... :-(

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Hey Tom, I know this is an old post -- but how did your experiment work out for you?

I'm currently building a J bass, and I'm contemplating adding some NOS DiMarzio Model Js and the Series/Parallel wiring you mentioned by using the CTS Push/Pulls as well.

[And by no offense to Crater] the scheme you (Tom) mentioned offers more options than the basic single switch mod, so I'm curious about your approach and how it worked out for you.

I s'pose I'm really asking for an update, considering it's been well over a year since you posted this.

Thanks in advance.
