Cull The Cab Herd? What would you keep and or sell?

Wow, looking at that Road cab brings back memories, makes my back ache all over again, 41 years later! I donated mine to a music school in '84, they were grateful to receive it. They were even happier to get my '72 Rick 4001. Don't miss the Road but I do miss that Rick.

I dont find it particularly heavy but I grew up playing SVT 8x10s. Its normal for a big cab. You gave your Ric away? Very generous..... but stupid ( kidding, a ref to old Laugh In skit with german soldier "very interesting!.... but stupid"

I would sell all the 15s and keep the two avatar 12 inch cabs.

Only 12s... Thats an interestring option. Ah... I forgot to mention that when on mid and hi level tours, you generally want a backup rig as well as the main. So keeping the 2x12s and the 1x15s makes sense. Whereas for splitter bus eg Bandago tours, the road ready 2x15 is both easy and robust.

Yes, totally stupid. I really thought I'd never play again so someone worthy should have it. Figured music students would best appreciate and benefit from it. Of course, 7 years later I started playing again and had to buy new gear.

I would probably sell all of them and buy something different that gets me inspired. But that is how I have been for the last 20 years. I like trying different gear.

Late reply but, I like them all a lot! Thats the problem in the deciding. However mow that you mention it, the idea of researching and starting form scratch is attractive. Knowing me, Id get the new one/s and keep the old ones.
