You can get a reverb and chorus sound from the TC Flashback via the toneprint editor. Reverb Chorus
Maybe someone who owns one can chime in on the quality.
I've recently put together my first board. A new EHX Bass Clone will run you about $70 USD. I've got one, and it's 'fine' but I suspect it won't be my last in the Chorus quest.
OTOH I'm so very happy with my mini Donner JC Flanger and the Mooer mini ReEcho ($30ea, new!) I find I'm using my Echo set like this as an 'always on' dealio >
Not sure about the price, but a EHX Canyon is a delay pedal with a delay/reverb setting.
In terms of chorus, I like an EHX Bass Clone. For grind, I’d like to know what bass you’re using before doing any suggestions. A lot depends on the output and frequency response of your bass when it comes to dirt.
If you have 125 budgeted I would say try a Truetone/VisualSound H2O V3 chorus and delay. Super lush sound, very tweakable, and the chorus has a switch that sends it into seasick wobble wonderland. If I didn't already have other chorus and delay plans I'd get another one of those myself.
Salut Inconnu, long time no see ! Always been curious about that pedal, I'd like to get it for my home board, if I can find one.... do you know if it works well on acoustic guitar ?
It should. Actually it’s quite like the Small Clone, but with a depth pot (rather then a switch), a treble control over the effected sound, a bass control over the uneffected part of the sound and, the icing on the cake, a crossover switch. Yup, the lower frequencies of your sound are unaffected (if you wish to) and the bass knob lets you cut or boost some lows from the uneffected part of your sound (at least, it’s what I understood about it). On an acoustic guitar, my guess is that the crossover might be interesting depending if the crossover point isn’t too low.
