Current Fender American Standard Colors

Yes, I've always struggled with "Partly Sunny" and "Mostly Cloudy" too.

I'm not so much concerned about their color choices as I am the quality of the finishes. You can clearly see the outline of where the three pieces of the body were glued together... Under the solid black shell.

I kinda like the charcoal mist but would really gas for a surf green, coral pink or fiesta red!

Realistically, if they came out with Hot Pink, Graffiti Yellow, and Plum Purple (whatever colour the P around here was refinished in), they would be far more appealing to the younger crowd.

It would make more sense to have obnoxious colours in the MIM or Squier lines, where they would be affordable, than MIA, IMO.



Keep in mind, I use the term obnoxious in an endearing way, as all of those colours would be super badass. I'll take a P in any of 'em.

If they came out with any of those colors i would buy one, otherwise i will just buy a fender used.

I think the current range is very well thought out, looks classy and expensive. The latter of which, they definitely are these days!

Silverburst, Rastaburst, Tobacco, Natrual or lightly stained would be nice

as for solid colours, maybe take a page out of the flea bass book
