sweet!

I talked with Darrin on Friday and am looking forward to the specs on mine this week!

:D

I'm waiting for a Custom bass too ! I ordered it a month ago, I think I still have to wait 1 or 2 more months...

It's a Warwick... With these specs:

-Warwick Streamer LX 5 string.

-Non-broadneck, 16.5mm string spacing.

-Bubinga Pommelé body, natural oil finish.

-Fretted Ovangkol neck with Tigerstripe Ebony fretboard.

-Matching headstock (Bubinga Pommelé).

-Black Hardware.

-35" scale.

-Active J/J MEC pick-ups.

-3 band EQ MEC.

Any opinion ? :hyper:

Fuzzbass, did Darrin change his mind and decide to keep going with custom instruments, or is he sticking to the more standard models?

Darrin's realized he can't keep up with true custom orders. I've been waiting nearly 4 years for mine, some longer. He's going to finish the existing orders, and says he won't take new orders until he's caught up.

After that, he's going to offer a number of fixed designs, ranging from basic to fancy. I'm guessing he'll allow the purchaser some flexibility, but no more custom body shapes, etc.
