I've never been a fan of the Conklin body style.... but I REALLY dig the new one Stew! Congrats!
thanks, James. I think the simple look (one wood, lack of knobs, etc.) really shows the beauty of the aesthetic.

I believe the pickup's a Nordstrand Fat Stack?
good catch! it's a custom wind with slightly rotated poles across the strings. you have to look carefully at the pic but it's an idea Coop at Carey's shop came up with to compensate for the differences in excursion between the big and small strings. can't wait to give it a spin!
