I'm currently waiting for my '51 TeleP 5-string thats being built by Rod at Regenerate Guitar Works.

This mockup is based off of an earlier '51 Tele he built for Chef.

Currently the body is done and awaiting routing and finishing.
Neck is done and off getting it's inlay work, then back for frets/finishing
Electronics have arrived
Hardware has arrived

So I'm starting to get Antsy...

Here's an early sketch of the pickguard layout as we tweaked that. That's currently done also and off being made.

It's been a while since I've been in this "club", but I'm back now that Barker Vertical Bass has agreed to build me a fretless 6 string :D

I'll have regular updates on the Barker Forum where a thread has been started, as well as my own web site, and I'll be sure to check in here as things progress.

Probably about a 4 month build time .... here's some pics of the wood to be used for the body:

That wood looks like sunshine on ocean waves!

Very deep and beautiful. Gotta Love it! :D

^You should have gotten a friend from the U.S. to have it shipped to them and then they could ship it to you, even with the extra shipping costs it should have still been worth it. I'm sure you could have even had someone on here do it for you, if you were willing to trust them.

Yet it looks you already have quite a formidable arsenal of basses at your disposal. :p

Thanks Mr. Kabong!

The MPG Level 6 was delivered today!!

I've been catching grief for getting trans-white over that nice grain, but I really dig it!
It is inspiring to play. (Loving the 19mm spacing.)

Very interesting bass. Trans white is also on my agenda.
