So, I've needed this support group for a while and didn't even know it existed. I've been awaiting my very first custom. It's a T.L. Martinson. He's a new builder out of Tennessee that I found on eBay. His pricing is great, he's gotten some return customers, and some positive feedback. He's been working with me for a few months and has been nothing less than professional, curtious, and helpful. I should have my bass very soon, so I won't be part of the group for long. Here are some pics of the build....

Thanks Scott. The neck is wendge and bubinga. The wings are mahogany with a lacewood top. It ships out tomorrow!

I wonder how that one will feel on your lap. The indent hopefully won't be like a dagger in your thigh, but looks like there's a chance of that. Is this a body style that he's used before?

My design... It shouldn't be too bad. If so, then it's my own fault. It shipped yesterday and I can't wait to have it in hand.

ETA 3 months, .5 weeks for my NS5H2-TW Spector 5! Interested to see what they call "wide spacing", as this bass is supposed to have it! Emerald green+black stain over flamed maple. Should rawk!
