Custom Bass Wait Support Group Needed [Part 3]

That's rough. Well I can't wait to see it! Hopefully it's soon.

yeah apparently they just lost 3 ppl who do sanding, string winding, and ordering parts. on top of that Mika left, and apparently some orders got misplaced or lost. also Vinnie is the only one who builds anything. what i heard from a friend and another fodera artist is that Vinnie can only build 150 basses a year. and he gets 250 orders a year. So every year he's 100 behind.

:crying:

Hey everyone!

Does that mean there's a potential "12 step" program in mind? :hmm:

The less "steps" the better I suppose!

Also, if it's a support group...I suppose that when we 'graduate' we'll be "mentors" with the ability to "encourage others to be patient and listen to soothing tunes"...

That would be a euphemism for: When we finally do get our basses, we'll be able to go: Na, na, na, na to others while we get down playing to other's displeasure!!! :D

SWEET!!!

step one: January
step two: February
step three: March

ect...

Do you start over if the wait goes beyond 1 year?
If not, my Laggan would have been a 23 step process (and it hasn't work out for me-ouch!)
Just have to look at taking purchase risks as a luxury - -

Maybe there should be a support group for people who comission super-specialized
customs who can't come to terms with the fact that their "dream axe" just ain't right (for them).
I'm sure there's a few out there.

Not that anyone currently waiting will have that issue :).

I've posted it a couple times but, it my turn to officially join the club.. Having a 6 string being built by Wilser Ramirez

Welcome fellow Ramirez man! (Rudyboy98; you're one as well, correct?)

This is no knock on that beautiful piece of wood, but it kind of looks
like mr. smiley face after getting pushed off a 20 story building.
