Custom Control Cover Template for Peavey Millennium BXP 4

This bass isn't a sunburst, so I kinda find the look of it to be dull. So I thought I'd get a custom control cover made for it. In the meantiume I'm waiting for a gold replacement bridge to show up.

Where can I get the control cover made?

You can make one yourself out of almost anything, blank pick guard material, old license plate, plywood, thin diamond plate, even transparent plexiglass (which can then be painted on the reverse side however you like) be creative. Simply remove the one you have, trace it onto the new material, cut it out, and file the edges to make it smooth.

If you want to make a gold one go to a home supply store and look at the brass kick guards that are often put on the bottom outside of exterior doors. They are pretty thin but thick enough to be stiff. I've used them for rear control cavity and battery pocket covers.

They have other colors, too.

Another cool material for black covers is Garolite. It's a hard-ish black plastic, sort of a modern version of the old Bakelite. Garolite is naturally a semi-gloss black with a slight texture in the surface. Unlike the soft vinyl pickguard material, Garolite is much harder to scratch. It's more rigid and quite durable. But it's still easy enough to saw, drill and file.

What I'm looking for is a company who can do teh cutting for me if I simply upload a template for them. I've already created the template in Adobe Illustrator. It's perfect to the millimeter. I have no way to cut one.
