Picture from devon today after poly. Going to wet sand and buff and this beauty will be ready for assembly.
Almost ready for electronics and hardware.
The majority says black.
That's why you should go with gold.
Seriously, black usually doesn't work with dark wood…gold makes it come alive.
Just look at the photo above. At first I thought the bass had black speed knobs. Hard to tell, really.
Just look at the golden strip of wood down the middle of the body…looks great.
Wouldn't quite be the same with a black strip.

Always black with pretty woods. Gold clashes with just about anything other than solid black or white paint.
I got my Ethos Leather Cross strap ordered today to match my Devon Build. What does everyone think of the color. I think it will match really good.
