Custom graphite neck build, fretted or fretless?

As others have already said in this post, I would recommend that you use a neck from a company that has actual experience in building bass necks.(moses, status, modulus...etc..)

IMO IME.....etc....

Gonna save you A LOT of $$,

Were it *me*, I'd have a nice hard black fingerboard on it and go fretless. Heck, I'd actually just get a nice zon... but that's me!

yeah but it will be worth it in the end and its actually not that bad of a price(cheaper than a zon)

I decided when I went for a Status neck Jazz that I really wanted a fretless.

When it was finished, I liked it so much I had to do a fretted version to go with it.

Now they're my two main basses.
