CWB 12 - The Dirty Dozen

Tat had my mind going too. I stopped at Long & McQuade (Canada's Guitar Center) on the way home this afternoon.

Had both of the Squier Fretless basses in my hands that I did last visit. Only $300. But I don't need it. I also saw a Fender J- that was red with the bridge pup cover and had a matching headstock. It was $1700. I didn't buy it either but was very surprised that it had a huge chunk out of the finish on the head stock and it was still that price. Serial number started with a Z so it should be MIA. I may need another look at it. Bet they let it go really cheap due to the chip in the headstock.

So I spent the princely sum of about $9. Yup, I bought some strap locks because the strap let loose on my MapleGlo Rick this morning and I am NOT going to let something like that happen again. I had it firmly by the neck at the time so no harm came to it.
 
I picked up a Sansamp BDDI today..I freaking love it. I am using it to drive the amp section of my Kustom head (bypassing the EQ) and I am loving the tone. I really love the ampeg tone and this gets me really close to it. I also picked up a Boss ODB-3 Overdrive pedal..I'm on the fence about that right now. I may end up returning that.
