Spent the afternoon hanging with a new to me drummer. It was a great afternoon. Big first time thing for me playing live with only a drummer. We clicked. It was definitely a butterflies in the stomach moment.

We worked on Werewolves, You Really Got Me, and Gimme Some Lovin' all afternoon and played around until we found the place where it just all came together. Then some time with him playing with tempo to see if I was capable of adjusting to changes. At the end of the afternoon.......he said to me, "You have a remarkable sense of timing. I threw some things out there that I wasn't sure if you'd pick up, but you did and you did it fast. You're the kind of bassist I could play in a band with. Would you be interested in partnering up and doing that?"

Needless to say - my answer was, "YES!" So now it begins.

Good deal!

I played all of those songs over the years (as a drummer) and I particularly loved Gimme some lovin', It was always fun to play with a deep freakin' pocket.

Glad you liked it. Great tune.

I confess, I am human, and I beginning to feel hurt by all the Jimmy M resentment stuff. I almost quit my mod thing yesterday over all the hate. When I now realize how many people effing hate me, it's been a real eye opener.

Well, now I said it. That's what it is. I've worked hard to make this a good place. For that you get crapped on.

Have a good night. :bassist:

Thor, I've been a mod on a forum for a few years and wish that I was as good at it as you are. We love you here my friend, you are hugely appreciated by many of us.

Okay...

I can handle the jealousy.

I've met Tat and FM now... I hope to be in Columbus in May, I hope to meet PA then.
