You could try these, tuning up from BEAD to DGCF with the 65 85 105 128. Haven't tried it myself though

I just installed a set of 760FS and it's great!!!
Not floppy at all, on the contrary, perfect tension, easy vibrato!
And I agree, even the 760FL would be just fine!

So, guys, I got an EHB1000S, that's a 30" scale short bass with a pretty stiff neck. It came with Daddario EXL165's which I downtuned them to standard D of course. Soundwise, I dig them although I am not really a wound strings lover but that's a different flavour I guess.
Now, tension wise, these even in standard D on the EHB1000S are on the stiff side, in fact I perceive them as stiffer than my 760FS on my 34" scale SR300 bass, always in standard D.
So, in a couple of weeks the bass goes to my tech and I need to decide which new strings we are gonna put on it.
For the time being, I am open to both wound and flat strings suggestions.
I need something with lower tension (but, yeah, not too floppy). Soundwise, I don't like extreme highs, the EXL165's are fine soundwise except from the 105 which seems to be a bit too dominant compared to the rest of the strings of this set.
In terms of flats and tension, I was thinking about the Daddario ECB81's but these seem to be the brightest flats available maybe? For wound, Daddario EXL190's are on the table but I don't know how that little 40 will sound...
I don't know...

I have my NS Design CR 5 tuned down to ADGCF
I had had my Aria SB-025 tuned down a while step, but at 34" and with Barts/TCT, it was a bit too muddy.
The Maple/EMG/35" of the NS Design CR 5 is perfect for ADGCF.
The flat response of Maple and the clarity of EMG-X system is perfect. Deep tones without being pingy and growl for days.
The Metalcore band I'm in always wanted to go as low as possible, even down to F#, just because everyone else is doing it. But I resist.
I agree with Chuck Shuldinger of Death when he said anything below a while step down is less musical and more noise.
Though, there is some C# stuff that's cool, like Breaking Benjamin, but again, lacks punch and clarity.

So the total tension of the gauges 56 75 100 118 from LTF-5A-S in D standard at 30" scale are only a little more than gauges 42 56 75 100 from LTF-4A or 5A in E standard at 34" scale (139.90lbf).
Italy based Galli offer a 4 string set with gauges 60 80 100 120 in their RSB Nickels. So no need getting a 5 string set and setting aside the G string as per the other suggestions. You can select short scale from the 'scale length' option RSB60120 4 strings Heavy
The total tension profile of the 60-120 Galli RSB rounds at 30" scale would look like this

Read what Google AI has to say about gauges 60 80 100 120 tuned D standard at short scale. Note comments about nut modding, which is no drama if you know what your doing or a luthier/tech does.
P.s I have 60 80 100 120 XL rounds tuned to DGCF on a 34" scale, and there is nothing remotely "dangerously tight' about the tensions as suggested by GAI. C2 and F2 are firm though. For sure

It usually has 45-105 or 50-110 Rotosound on it, so I would want a heavier set if tuning to DGCF.
Has anyone tried using the bottom 4 strings of Rotosound's lighter-weight 5-string Swing Bass sets for D Standard?

Calculating the tensions, a custom set of 55–75–95–120 looks appealing — adds up to about 180 lb.
Not sure how the 120 would sound tuned to D, but they also do a single 115, so.

You may also want to check out Stringjoy - you can set up a custom batch of strings, and they have quite a wide range to choose from. I've liked the strings I've purchased from them, including bass, electric, and acoustic guitars.
120 is better for D than it ever is for B imo
