I don't feel that you have to actually be a 'dad' to be in a 'dad band'; it's just a mindset, or stage of your life if you have continued with with that 'passing fad/phase' thing your parents yelled at you about. There are old rockers that don't have kids, or if they did have them, they don't know about them(or want to know). But nobody's really touched upon Dad Punk. Here, notice how they're referencing 80's/90's punk; OG punk rockers are potentially granddads(and -ma's)...
