No matter, aesthetics are minor past the bare minimum. Neat colors (did someone say blood red?) and artwork are nice, but it's the audio a pedal outputs that counts at the end of the day, and the MBD's has been nothing but impressive from what I've heard over the past couple of months.

And ordered, as sad as I am there aren't other colors left =)

AOU and MBD-1 are a match made in heaven. Two peas in a pod. Salt and Pepper. Sugar and Spice. I mean they are great friends!
yeah they do completely opposite things. I can totally understand having both of them on your board. I've been tempted myself but since I've bought and sold every other iteration of that pedal so I figure it wouldn't last anyway.
$400 is a steep fee to test that theory, too.
My DA/DG combo is MBD-1 into B7KU. I will be tempted to buy the B7KUv2 when it comes out... and I do have some pedals I can sell to finance it!
My dirt chain is Alpha Omicron, MBD-1, B7KU...and it works really well! AO into MBD-1 is a fun combo that I can pull a lot of tones out of. The bigger Alpha Omega didn't really work for me, but the Alpha Omicron is. I think having the extra EQ points just messed with my head...
I'm sure it's both, but I'm interested to hear if cats are using the MBD-1 earlier or later in their dirt chain?

Yeah and honestly there are some very cool pedals out ther right now. I’m eyeballing the Annex bass drive real hard.

I have my mbd-1 early in my chain. I just got a brimstone XD-2 that will go after it along with my B7K

I run my mbd1 after cog mini 66... the 66 just drives it into a nice grind a bit more!
I had to send my MBD-1 back to Jeff recently for him to check out. I thought I had broke it. Not sure really what the issue was, but all ghosts in the machine were exercised. It checked out fine on his end and he sent it back, all free of charge. I am thankful for builders like Jeff who take care of customers. In the time that it was away, I had forgotten a bit how amazing the MBD-1 is. It's really true, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
