Danelectro Basses

I still use my original 1965 dolphin-nose one-pickup Danelectro. That model had to have been one of the earliest 24-fret basses on the market. Stock lipstick pickup, stock primitive wooden bridge, stock guitar tuners. Tuning it requires the touch of a safe-cracker, but it holds its tuning well. The pickup sounds great and seems to have slightly more output than the DiMarzio on my mid-'70s Precision.
