Yes, I knew that. The intonation is only off a very tiny but. Been jamming with my brother and all seems goodThe intonation on the d and g can be fixed. You do realize that not only does the rosewood saddle swivel but it also slides back and forth, right? All 4 of my strings are perfectly intonated since discovering that.
Looks like something that Spock would play.Eight cover band sets so far View attachment 3657277 and I love this thing, especially on a crowded stage
Really? Hmmm...I've been considering snagging a 339 lately. I only have one electric guitar and I want another. Maybe.View attachment 3657729 Yeah, they do. But, if you actually play one, the ergonomics are pretty normal - for a little hollow body guitar. My Longhorn lives in an Epiphone ES-339 guitar case; as you can see, it fits quite nicely...![]()
In the 'States I'd guess about $300. That's not one of the desirable models (baritone makes it a little more so) and down there MOST Danos (except the originals and some of the firs run Koreans) go for under $400.OK, Dano dudes, I'm being offered Wild Thing baritone in trade. They seem to be pretty rare, so i can't even come up with comps to determine a value. What would you value one (red, Korean, VG condition) at in trade value?

After using my Longhorn as my favourite gigging bass for many years it looks like I might be getting a Dolphin nose as a back up . Apparently about six years old . Are they Korean ? Thinking they are but not positive . I know the necks are chunkier than a Longhorn , I'm ok with that . I imagine the pickups are quite hotter . Hope to pick it up tomorrow .
The dolphin nose I'm getting has three cream coloured knobs and the wooden bridge , picking it up tomorrow morning . Might pick up another set of LaBella Dano flats for it . My Longhorn has the factory strings from 98 and I have a set of flats ready for the inevitable . Strings on the dolphin are not factory but they're rounds . I'll check out how it sounds at my Sunday gig . Looking forward to this !
LaBella actually make a set of Dano specific flats !
Picked up the dolphin nose this morning , slight bridge sag , but everything else looks good . Immediately put on a set of LaBella Dano flats I had , slightly lowered the bridge . Intonation is fine , it plays like buttah ! I've got a gig tonight in the local blues bar so I'll hear how she does a room , with any luck I'll have a guest or two trying it out and be able to hear it out front too . I'm really liking this cheap little thing ! Don't know if it's Chinese or Korean .
