FOR SALE ALERT:
A 90's Seafoam burst (!!!) is for sale on the Facebook Page "Danelectro Lovers and Enthusiasts"
Looks sexy, I told the person selling I would post here about it.
Use small rubber washers.
If you like Grolsh beer, they have rubber washers that work well for strap locks. The beer's not bad either.![]()
Congratulations! As far as the existing strap buttons on my Korean Longhorn they were a tapered friction fit. Finally found my Longhorn! Big thank you to @ba$$ for hooking me up with contact info, very sincerely appreciated my friend! Took possession yesterday, I'll post photos ASAP. '98 Seafoam burst Korean built model, really good condition and plays nice too. May I have a club members number now please?
Question to the braintrust here - I want to put strap locks on it. The strap buttons on it now don't have a screw hole in the center, they're solid white plastic (I assume plastic anyway). My assumption is that they have a screw embedded and just screw in and out but don't want to damage anything trying to remove them not knowing exactly how they're mounted. Anyone here have any experience removing/replacing strap buttons on a Longhorn? TIA for any info.
So sorry man. Just added you. #99
