If this is the wrong place to post this let me know. I'm new here and looking for some help. I have a Danelectro Rumor bass with built in chorus. It needs some rewiring cause there's a wire that I thought I put back in the right place but I guess I didn't. My question is, does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram or at least a decent picture of the wiring that I can make a diagram from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you get the information to make your repairs? Ido have a rumour pbass with the chorus button do not have a wiring diagram but I could open it up and take some photos where did the wiring get messed up. Let me know if you need the images

I bought an Ibanez AFB-200 with strings on it that look the same. I've been curious about who made them. I love them.

Kind of hard to tell from the picture, but... If they have golden yellow silk on both ends? Then, yes; they're Roto 88 Tapes. I have them on my old MIK Rogue VB-100. I kinda love them, too...

I haven't found anything yet. If you're willing that would be a huge help! I seem to have bypassed the the tone and volume control on the passive jack. It doesn't have a battery in it so I haven't been able to test the active circuit.

EDIT: I just tested the active circuit and that unsurprisingly is also bypass the tone and volume pots.

Thank you! I think my problem is the white lead from the pick ups is connected in the wrong place. will try the fix and see what happens.

I'm really enjoying my Longhorn '58 reissue. The bass is nice and light and it's fun to play. There is plenty of low end and excellent mids.

I really need to add strap locks though. The Dano came off its' strap button on the neck side of the bass, again. I just caught the instrument before it hit the floor!
What do you all think of these Schaller S-Locks? Will they attach to the Dano, or is the body too hollow to accept long screws?

I have the rubber strap locks already but they won't fit with the factory strap buttons. What should I try to keep that strap attached?

Good news is that Danos don't seem to break when they hit the floor . I don't know how many times I've seen mine go over . I initially thought because of the light weight they'd be delicate , but they're tough little rigs .

You can use the o-ring gaskets of the gas cylinder. They are smaller than Fender rubber ones.

Thank you. Are they sold as strap locks, or misc. hardware? Do you have a link to these gaskets?

No, you have to go to a kitchen gas cylinder dealer, or ask to a plumber, or in a bricolage center.
