If you feel it's overpriced, no need to dish out so much attitude.

All I know is if I dropped my day job to build pedals full time, put in ridiculous amounts of hours into it, and wanted to earn above minimum wage I'd probably charge the same. There are plenty of builders out there that will charge you $200 for a tweaked OCD/Tubescreamer/Muff/RAT etc, but not so many that put time in to engineer their own designs. They're not for everyone, but there are plenty of people happy to spend the extra to get something different to what the mainstream offer.

How do I know? Maybe visually being built off the exact design aesthetic of the B7K has something to do with it. My B7K is from 2013. That's a huge amount of previous R&D right there.
I'm not saying the guts aren't entirely newly developed. But, judging solely on the external view, which is B7K by design (2012?) with a different color plate and knob variables, I'll hazard a guess that it shares some familiar similarities with previous developed design internally, as well.
Gut shots and demos would help answer that.

Not to get into a "Which Engineering Discipline is Hardest" debate, but in this situation the electrical internals of the pedal is what takes the majority of the development time and resources. You're not paying $350 for a blue box with some knobs, you're paying $350 for the (at least) hundreds of Engineering hours that went into putting together a circuit that functions well and has a very particular sound that was developed by the folks at Darkglass and Jon Stockman.

Know what's funny? Prompted by the "not this again" posts I did a search and read up some threads that the "disagreement" was covered in earlier today. I just checked back here and instead of focusing on the topic, this thread is now reading exactly like the different one I was reading earlier. Good work, TB!
