Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

They said there will be an e500 Update in June. So no anagram stuff.
For some reason I thought the e500 was discontinued...

My dream digital amp would be a mix between the Anagram and e500, or: Anagram, plus Class D power section, less the footswitch (there would be an external wireless footswitch).
  • It would be an all-in-one solution
  • Amp-level user interface, easier to see and access (no need to bend over to change settings)
  • With the 6 knobs and the wide screen of the Anagram, the amp could display by default the normal settings of a traditional amp: Gain, Bass, Low Mid, High Mid, Treble and Master (or Mid Freq and Mid Gain instead or Low Mid and High Mid). Of course, you could access to all the other views of the Anagram, but I think it's cool that it looks and feel like a normal amp when you power it.

I thought about getting it, but Line6 announced a new model - and here is what is a dealbraker for me: The Anagram doesn't have a ground lift. I had so many gigs where that was a necessity for a digital modeler. A friend literally sent back the Quad Cortex and another built their own platform to solve that
I have not tested it, but in the device settings there is a gnd lift option in Anagram

As @jpaulo correctly pointed out; The Anagram does have a ground lift for the XLR outputs. It’s not in the most convenient location being toggled on the screen rather than via a switch, but it’s accessible with one tap of an always-on screen button, one tap of a contextual screen prompt, and a slight turn of knob number 2.

Ok that looks good. Does it only affect the XLR outputs or the other outputs as well?

Quad Cortex also has ground lift in the I/O config.

I can tell you from experience that the only way to properly ground the Quad cortex is to 1. use another PSU that is already grounded and 2. have an XLR connected to an already grounded device. Otherwise it is quite noisy

Friend who has it literally tried everything and even talked with their customer support
