Yeah, I'm in same dilemma. I plan to only have the Anagram on my pedal board so it seems like overkill to get a dedicated power supply with an isolated 9V 2A+ supply..
I'll have to see how bad the noise floor is (and 'bodge' a solution by using Noise Suppressor blocks in the meantime) in a few different locations before I make a decision to spend another sizable chunk of cash to hopefully get clean power

I finally got to bring my Anagram to rehearsal. It went well, but I noticed that my scenes sounded a bit dark. I thought I had plenty of top end, but apparently I need to adjust some more.
I’m not entirely confident in my preset building, but I’m going to keep plugging away.

On another note, every time I try to update the suite it gives me a “something went wrong” message.
I’m on version 5.75 I think, is this not the latest version?

If you cannot install this version over the top of your current version, I'd just uninstall 5.7.5 then install 5.8.3-rc1 clean.

The Mooer PSU I bought wasn't super cheap, but it was nowhere near as expensive as a dedicated pedalboard-type PSU, such as the Cioks, or Voodoo Labs etc.

Annoyingly, I found out after I bought it that the Anagram can handle a PSU up to 12v, which appear to be more readily available and usually cheaper. This is not explicitly made clear in the manual.

Hey thanks man. Right now its not a big issue for me as I dont plan having to be in the menu very much once I get things set. But if I have issues with the others I'll reach out.

It’s the knob is a little too low and stops the button going in.

Mine had it when I first got it but a little pull (and I don’t know if it moved much as it’s not loose) and it’s been fine since.

Also when I first got it I was really gentle with it, 3 weeks in I’m pushing, pulling and stomping on whatever I need to.

Anyone have a good octaver preset? Currently using and Hx Stomp and for that I use the Boctover with great results. Not in to the OC2 sound but I do love the hard hitting lows of the Boctover. Really hits you in the chest and rattles the pews at church lol.

Only asking because it's unclear to me: you do know the Boctaver is a clone of the OC2, right? Most say the Boctaver it's not quite there, but I personally would say it's at least in the ball park, vs the other octave options in the Stomp.

Regarding the Anagram, I've been enjoying the Sublemon octave block. Tracking has been really great for me, and I'd say it can be dialed in for those "hard hitting lows" you seek. More so than the Boctover, IMO. OC2-style octave is much more midrange focused, to me at least.

I prefer the Sublemon for general octave work similar to an OC-2 or the BOctave in the HX Stomp, typically blended to about 50%. If you want to cop more of the vibe of a pedal like the Mantic Hulk or for building synth tones, I prefer the Sublime 100% wet with the filter cutoff tuned to only produce fundamentals. I effectively never use the Subcitri.

I know the XLR out config looks a little wonky, but the board already had a wired in XLR (that was previously connected to an Alpha/Omega), so I just connected the Anagram to the existing cable.

Question: does anyone have anything too shar eabout the Global EQ section? Im interested too hear if anyone has played aournd with this for tone refinement, etc... Thanks...

I've been using the Helix LT for a number of years and the global eq on the anagram is great, but has some quirks that I'd prefer to work differently.

It has 6 fully parametric bands, which is great - the Helix only has three, plus high and low cuts. But the top and bottom bands on the anagram are shelving. I'd prefer it if you could switch between shelf, bell or hpf/lpf.

I'm finding having to press the screen to switch between gain, frequency and width a little cumbersome. All parameters are immediately available on the Helix, but you have to navigate to separate 'pages' to get to each band instead. I'd prefer it if you could directly shape the eq by touch instead - up, down, left and right for gain and frequency, and maybe pinch for width, and use the knobs to fine tune. Although I don't know if the anagram supports multi-touch. to implement this idea.
