Darkglass Enthusiasts: Alpha Omega or Alpha Omicron?

I had the Alpha Omega, but I think my preference would be the smaller footprint and no EQ. Seems everything has an EQ these days and I don't need any more.
But also, I have a B7K for my DI/parallel/EQ anyway so no need for another similar pedal.
Got the Omicron as it's cheaper, smaller, and I don't necessarily need the extra eq since it has bass and treble boosts you can toggle. Super flexible without the 3 band in my opinion.
So far I'm loving the little guy. I typically leave my B3K on full time and boost with the Omicron , but might switch them up. They sound so good together!

I second the Omicron recommendation. I rely on my amp and pre at the end of my signal chain for eq. The Omicron is a fantastic little pedal.
I love EQ to sculpt my dirt, and I am almost always using my OA with a little boost on the mids, gives me some nice pop and cut.
That said, I also feel weird about how many eqs my signal hits. If the AOm was available or even confirmed when the AO came out, I would have waited.

I only have the Omega, so I can't say for sure, but I do find myself adjusting the mid control, and occasionally the bass/high. I wouldn't say they are a must have, but I don't know that I'd sacrifice them for the smaller size. I'll go Omega, but not by a huge margin.
I have the Alpha Omega but only like adjusting the mid control keeping the bass/treble at noon. Probably would have liked the Omnicron just as much as I have a tone capsule on my bass and notice the hi-mid makes a much bigger difference in the distortion tone for me.
Omicron is going to be the next pedal I buy, with the possible exception of an envelope filter. I wanted the Omega ever since it came out but ended up getting a Bass Driver DI v2, which sort of made me forget about the Omega. If it had two switches, one for the preamp and one for the drive section, I would've gotten one, but in a way it seemed too specific of a sound to use as a main DI for what I do.
I forget where I read it, may have been another thread on Darkglass pedals, but someone mentioned that bass players seem to have a habit of having a bunch of (unnecessary) EQ in their chain: often on the bass itself, a few pedals with their own EQ sections, and finally on the amp. That really stuck with me for some reason, plus I prefer not having too many knobs to fiddle with because I'm a 'set it and forget it' kind of guy. The smaller footprint of the Omicron is a very nice bonus.
EDIT: I know you can 'set and forget' a pedal with many knobs as well, I meant it makes the process of setting and forgetting easier if there are fewer knobs to mess with. I'm not too specific about my sound anyway, maybe that just makes me lazy

I use the original alpha omega and based on the eq settings I use on it I’d be worried about not being able to get the same tone out of its little brother.

I have both and prefer the Omicron. If you tend to run other pedals that have EQ I find the Omicron sits more easily with them. But if you're only planning to run one pedal straight into your amp I'd go with the Alpha/Omega. At least for the purposes of this poll. Given the choice I'd go with the Alpha/Omega Ultra. I tried it at NAMM and it is killer.
I am about to grab the Omicron this week. I currently have the Boss ODB-3, Boss Blues driver (Modded with a boost toggle for bass).

For me, I like the EQ incorporated into the effect and is just as important as the drive when used as a boost.
