I can't believe they went into production with the face print on that amp at about 8 point no weight font.

Yeah. I hate that about my Symmetry. Gotta memorize what the knobs do; no way to read them.
Speaking of the Symmetry, I really would be impressed if DG figured how to shoehorn that compression circuit into one of these heads. I'm not a huge fan of the overdrive, but if the clean section is a decent clean voicing and the compression could be added & controlled, I'd really be interested. In my fantasy world, no Attack/Release would be needed. Compression and Blend would be enough.
Regardless, at 2 ohm and 900 watts, with the ability to add their very popular distortion voicing, this amp should do very well as-is.
Agreed the face print is not practical for playing many venues. I think they wanted to maintain the aesthetic more than worrying about function though.
Honestly, it isn't that many controls to keep track of, so any owner will probably be familiar enough to recognize the knobs by location more than text. I don't think anyone is reading the labels mid-gig.

Given the number of things musicians memorize, I'm thinking this I'll be a learning curve but not an impediment. I think it could be a turn-off to some potential consumers, but those who purchase will likely acclimate.

Sounds really good. So what's the price on this? Their website lists the online stores but nobody shows it and I can't find a price on it anywhere.
I paid $1499 Australian for my pre order. Thomann has them on their site for €995 I think.

It seems Andertons have these for £769 and they are $999 in the USA....so actually we get a fairly fair price here.
