Darkglass Suite and Vintage Ultra Help

I just ordered the Darkglass Vintage Ultra v2. I really dig it, but feel quite like a beginner when it comes to extracting the true potential of this pedal.

In my research Darkglass has no step by step tutorials for people that are new with recording.

Firstly, how do you use the Darkglass Suite Cab Sims into your DAW?

I registered the pedal and have the Suite loaded up, but don't know how to convert the two.

Also, how do I achieve the clean signal AND the dirty signal to blend?

I have my pedal board running through my amp head thats going into my interface, as well as micing my amp, but both signals are distorted once I press it on. I don't know how do use the D.I. output on the pedal.

Any help is appreciated, I don't know why this has been such a frustrating learning curve for me.

I'm a bit bummed no one has replied to this yet. I just got an Alpha-Omega Ultra and I have no idea how to use the Darkglass Suite, either. I have my unit plugged into my computer and I select my cab and mic, but then see no way of continuing on to all the screens I see in the demo videos. Same frustration over there being no tutorial videos, or even threads/posts, anywhere to be found. It's been two years since your post, so I hope you've figured it out since, but now it's my turn to feel like an idiot, I guess.

Greetings fellas! Hopefully you found answers to these questions but I'm doing a review of the Vintage Ultra V2 for my channel and stumbled on to this thread, so i figured I'd chime in.

@Celtamongstmen There really isn't a ton to the darkglass suite beyond the cabsim for the Ultra pedals. The ADAM and the amps are the only ones that have all the additional pages and parameters.

@Freedos I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but it sounds like you want to record a clean and dirty signal at the same time with just the VU. Unfortunately that's not possible. All the signals will be dirty. You can however record one signal from the 1/4" out without the cabsim sound, and record the XLR with the cab sim. The only DG stuff that lets you split signals like that is ADAM and I think the amps. I may have an amp to review soon and I'll confirm if I do.

Hopefully this was helpful or at the least not annoying. :)
