Dr B. wasn't always a ripoff, sad that it became that way in the end. I finally got mine, and if I may say so, it's a helluva nice cab, my favorite. Feel really bad for the folks that lost out. I'm not sure whether it was really malice or more just business incompetence.Boohoo hoo.. This dude is a con man. Just like Dr. B.
Sounds like his mental state is a wee bit fragile to be hangin' much with Mr. Claypool.I'm shocked this poor fellow hasn't had had his name legally upgraded to Mud. Matter of fact, since he does CT type basses, he could build a My Name is Mud limited edition tribute bass and pay some bills if Claypool signs it.

Really? I ordered from him in 2009. I hope both of them suffer greatly. ..If he's sincerely trying to do the right thing for the people he owes, it almost seems reasonable. He must catch a lot of flack still

Lol Kip is that you ?He'd probably give it to Les and publicly crow that he's shipped a bass to one of his waiting customers!
Not that it's truly indicative but there are 13 members in that closed FB group. I can't see him admitting anyone who has not thrown money at him.Just out of curiosity how many people total does he owe instruments too?
I ordered from Dr. Bass quite a bit earlier than that. It took nearly 2 years, but I got a very nice cabinet. I almost feel guilty for all the folks that didn't get what they paid for, but why should I feel guilty? My deal with him worked out ok eventually. I feel bad, but there's not much I can do to help the people that got ripped off. I won't be giving away or selling my favorite cab.Really? I ordered from him in 2009. True, but I'm guessing he doesn't have one as a matter of personal choice and mental health. If his mental state is questionable, he's not likely to find help out there on the wild west of the interwebs. It's pretty obvious he is not a good businessperson. You can't force someone to participate in the online world, even if it would be in their best interests (which I doubt is the case for this messed up soul)."I do not have a computer"
How many business owners can honestly say that? How do you NOT have a $200 laptop to perform basic business functions?
Thinking like that is probably why he's in the situation he's in now.

One of those ended up in a hock shop??Interesting craigslist find for those concerned with Huff basses. Looks like one is for sale at a local pawn shop.
