Oh speaking of dives I'll be at the Olde Towne Tavern in Frederick MD on the 30th. We rock the %$#@ out of this place. Tomorrow night I will be at some place in Annapolis called the Crab Cake Factory. I have no idea what kind of place this is, never been there.I'm shameless with the gig spam.
My band broke up recently. I'm putting together a new band right now and working on material.
But I've been putting out word to friends in other bands that I have playing time to spare and am available to sub on short notice. Don't see why I shouldn't say as much here, as well.

I'll be playing tonight with my brother Peter at http://www.javarock.org/ Java Rock in Manassas, VA. It's a Christian coffeehouse, sometimes these places can be very goofy and I've never been to this one so I have no idea what to expect. But if anyone's sitting at home on Friday Night and wants to see their party host playing, this is your opportunity!
Hey I've come up with a time for the party - 1:00PM - 5:00PM next Sunday August 1. We can go a bit longer if people hang around, but I think 4 hours gives us enough time to enjoy ourselves and be home for Sunday Dinner.

BTW Java Rock was not goofy at all it was great, and the gig went well. I used my Fender USA Jazz V - man I love tha bass. I could plug it into a toaster and it would sound perfect.

It sounds to me like we're gonna have a boatload of everything, but then again, who's to say just what is too much?

This week has been unexpectedly busy. I'm gigging every day from Monday through Sunday except for Wednesday... and that's after spending last Thursday through Sunday in Nashville. And I have a day job (where's that tiny violin?).
If I can I'll try to stop by.
Most of us are hobbyists, but I understand that the real working musicians have schedule conflicts, that's why I've always found Sunday afternoon to be good for this kind fo thing. Brad I'll PM you the directions in case you can make it.
