Deal on markbass ta503, any good?

I have a good deal for this head, is it any good? (in other words would it justify an 80 km ride?)

Yes- Very nice MB amp. Bear in mind there're many SMALL good amps around these days- Genz benz for example- can be bought IN USA & used anywhere worldwide by a flick of the power input 120/240 switch. Altho- I don't think any Mark bass amps have this function. GB, & Ampeg PF350/500 & SVT7PRO heads do.

Thanks, I like of course ampeg and GB but this head has been caching my eyes lately! I will give it a try.

I think the markbass voltage is a little more combersome to change, the price is ok with TB's so I will give it a try.

A small class D amp with a good parametric EQ section might even be great for a PA monitor. Make your own adjustments for volume, tone, feedback elimination, etc.
