When does the Fender Super Ultra Double Secret Probation 9000 model come out?

I can't wait to be charged another $400 for nicer knobs on the new and improved model, that makes it the best and easiest playing Fender bass ever. Thank you Fender so much for caring about your players.

ok I have a Sire V7 and it's a very nice bass, however it isn't nearly constructed as well as Fender Deluxe, Professional, Elite or Ultra Jazz Bass.. sorry.

From what I remember, the Sire I played was on par with the higher end Fenders I'd played. MIAs don't seem to be any nicer than MIMs and have a significantly larger price tag. The only Fender's I've played that were worth $2k+ imo were Custom Shops.

Does anyone know if an Ultra’s pre amp will fit into a 2015 Elite? My elite no longer has any output on passive mode and the ultra is the closest thing I can find to the original.

This sounds real enough to be a Fender decision (sadly!)

Another bummer! Maybe it doesn' t look vintage enough for some?

On the other hand they do things like the pickup routes on Jazz basses

Am I the only one that likes Jazz basses without a PG?




Maybe you will have to wait for the "Mega" to replace the "Ultra"
