Dean Edge 1 maybe??

I've got this white Dean bass that I really like. However, I've had no luck in determining approximately when it was made, or even the correct name for it, hence the maybe?? after Edge 1

in the title. It's missing the truss rod cover, and I'm guessing that identification would be on it. On the headstock, it has Made in Korea and Serial # E811907. Pots are not dated to where I can see. Any ideas on it's name and time of manufacture?

It is an Edge 1 based on the configuration. Dean Edge 1 basses have been around since 1998
Dean basses made overseas can be dated by the first two digits of the serial number if the bass was manufactured after 2007 or 2008. Basses made prior to this, year of manufacture cannot be determined simply by the serial number. So it's made before 2007. (so, sometime between 1998-2007 )
As you're already aware of, it's made in Korea - I believe Samick makes guitars and basses for Dean in Korea.

Sorry but I can't narrow the year of manufacture any further as it's difficult to date the bass simply going by the number, but perhaps you can email Dean and they'll be able to use it to search their database and provide you that info.
