Double Bass Dean Pace Bass

Anybody ever used one? I bought one for intonation practice and portability, but the damn thing only works in an active input on an amp, if passive, it fizzes out and loses connection... help!

Never had that problem. I've always used it in a non-active input without issue. Have you tried another amp or another bass in the amp? Are your batteries in the Pace good?

Man my fizzles out too, it's hard to sell because of it... its great in active though!

Sounds like you have some kind of a break or short in the circuit.

No such probs with mine, and it sat in its case for like years

EB scale, not bowable. I don't think they really count. But, there probably isn't a better place for it.
