My musical tastes seemed to have stopped around 1980. Maybe to rescue me, my nephew sent me this video. It starts out with just repetitive 16th notes, but then it starts to get interesting. Check out the double stop in measure 25. Measure 30 features a great chromatic line and a natural harmonic.

I expect to be making some edits tomorrow morning. As usual, I really appreciate anyone taking the time to compare these transcriptions to the recording. Some of the process is subjective, but mistakes are easy to make. I see this as a collaborative process for anyone who chooses to participate, and I usually learn something in the process. I routinely see complaints about how inaccurate free transcriptions are. Here on TB, they're inaccurate if you don't speak up. Thanks.

I had mistakenly inverted the double stops. The video shows it as the first and second frets. The posted transcription reflects that correction. Thanks again for the feedback.

I replaced the pdf transcription file with a new one that reflects edits from ChrisDev. For example, I skipped a measure and then I quit transcribing when I heard a pause that the end. The song keeps going for a few more measures after that pause. Many thanks to ChrisDev for taking the time to edit this.

It seems like there might be a transcription mistake around the 3rd or 4th note of the first measure in the very last line of the PDF, but I am not 100% certain because it's so fast and I am pretty rusty at this. Could someone check and confirm whether the first two beats of that last line are correct?

Awesome! That matches what I thought I was hearing at measure 66. I will check to see if I can spot what else you changed. I had a question in one other area but I was less sure about that one so I didn't mention it.

Thanks. I think I'm improving. Having a keyboard helps, especially with chords. I use Transcribe! to divide the song into measures, which I loop and often slow down. Anytune and ASD are also popular. For the actual transcription, I use Sibelius First. I bought a permanent license for $85, but that's no longer available. If I were looking at getting transcription software now, I would look at Musescore and Guitar Pro 7. I originally bought Sibelius because I couldn't read my own transcriptions, but I discovered benefits way beyond legibility. I love copy/paste, transposing, and playback in particular. I learn the most from the feedback that other members give. There are some seriously knowledgeable people who participate in this forum.
