delano times square pickup?

I have one on order for a 5-string soapbar shape. I'll post my findings when it arrives.

If you're looking to put in an order, I recommend using BestBassGear.com. They've been excellent for custom Delano pickup orders over the past few years.

Man, do I love your willingness to share your pickup experiences with us!!! You always do such a fine job of it too. Thank you! :hyper:

The following link is in German (just in case you do not read German :)), but there are some sound samples of a bass with these pickups: Invalid Link Removed

Great link thanks !!

Sounds very nice. Prefer the neck pickup sound. However, in general, I am liking my pickups closer to the bridge than standard neck position but not to close. If the pup is to close to the bridge, no matter what kind, it just sounds to thin and nasaly to my ears.

+1 for Bestbass. I have some custon Delanos on order with them also.

Rather OT I know, but speaking of the Dual Coils, I just happen to have a custom set of the Nordstrand Dual Coils (wired in parallel) on order for my new Carvin LB75.

I hope to have taken delivery of them, and had them installed along with the new Delano 3-band onboard preamp, by end of the month. Can't wait! :hyper:

(We now return you to your regularly-scheduled thread...)
