Delay similar to the DL-4

Can anyone suggest a delay that is similar to a DL-4 but with better quality sound? Would love reverse and the ability to self oscillate in there somewhere. Not interested in a super expensive delay like a Strymon. Something with a smaller footprint would be great as well. Thanks!

Hazarai will do a great reverse without the high price, and does looping too.
Doesn't self-oscillate the way an analog delay will though.

I would LOVE an Avalanche Run...but can't really justify the $300.

Had a tc flashback. It's pretty good for the money. Check them out. The Justin Meldal Johnson and Janek Gwizdala toneprints were both fun

I second the Flashback recommendation. They sound much better than the DL4 and has reverse. You should be able to find a used on on the cheap and they are WAY smaller than the DL4.

Bigger than I wanted, but I've decided to go with the TC Electronic Alter Ego. I like that it also has the built in looper.

I have one and it sounds great, it's just lacking tap tempo to be honest... If that's not an issue for you then I would highly recommend it.
