Why do people hate this guy so much? I know he's a prepackaged teen idol pretty boy, but there have been prepackaged teen idol pretty boys since the dawn of the music biz. Why does he seem to get an overrepresentation about of vitriol?
Friend of mine was denied entrance into Canada for a misdemeanor possession conviction. An A-hole move like that deserves no less than an A-hole move in return.

Last night, an attorney on CNN said the shenanigans Bieber's been getting himself into aren't severe enough to warrant deportation.
Because it's cool to hate pop artists. Some think it means they're above it, superior; it gives them 'street cred.'
I don't like the brat. But he does have talent. Just ask the zillions of other kids who DIDN't 'make it.'
You know I got in a little trouble awhile back and you can bet your @$$ I was prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. No priors and NO PLEA bargain. I had a crime committed against me and had very little recourse. Piss's me off big-time that this scam of government just enforces what they want when they want to whom ever they want. I hope his @$$ gets prosecuted to the fullest extent and then some. Man up dude.

They should send him to trial under a pseudonym with a brilliant hollywood makeup disguise and give him the exact sentence that anyone who wasn't famous would get, deportation or no. If you dislike the culture of celebrity spectacle he represents and contributes to, the best thing to do is get rid of any and all special treatment for him including an overly-sever or symbolic punishment.
And here you are, thinking you're above the ones who think they're above it. Funny how that works, ain't it?
And by talent I take it you mean "huge corporate machine pushing his pre-packaged product on a demographic that will eat up pretty much anything they are served".

Believe me, unless you're a pre-teen or teenage girl, you won't like it. I saw him on SNL I just don't get the attraction but then again, they didn't write the tunes for me thank God!
