DFW get-together anyone??

It was great seeing old faces and meeting new ones today. Pete did a great job hosting the event. His basses are quite excellent!

And those Schroeder cabinets! WOW!!! First new cab I've heard in a long while that is actually an improvement over what is already available. Great stuff!

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Wow! What a great way to spend some free time on a Saturday and what a great bunch of guys to spend it with. I really enjoyed meeting everyone today at the GTG. I've never heard so many accomplished bassists at one place before. A very special thanks to Pete and his "crew" for such a good job of hosting this event. I hope this can become at least an annual event, maybe even a couple of times a year. (Think about a day in February when it's about 50 degrees.)

Had an awesome time today! Thanks Pete for hosting the event and feeding us all, that was awesome of you. Also really impressed with your basses, those things sound amazing, not to mention look cool as hell :)

I got about 34 pics, but I wont be able to post them till Monday. Thanks TuBass for the video as well!

Was some amazing instruments, not to mention some amazingly talented players there today. Thanks also for all the compliments on my bass. Felt really good that everyone wanted a go at it, and from what I gathered it didnt dissapoint anyone hehe.

Also want to thank Jorg for treking all the way out from LA, not to mention his great wife for putting up with all of us! She had the lowdown on where the coolest spot to stand was and I was rather thankfull for that tidbit of info lol!

Pleasure meeting you all, and Ill get pics up soon!

PS - get that Daniel E. guy to sign up here lol, he's missin out :bassist:

Alright ya'll..I can post my pics now. One thing - I was noticing that the pictures aren't that good and I'm usually a pretty good picture taker. Then I realized that I had my little setting dial on the wrong setting. Doh! So anyway..that's why any picture with even a remote bit of movement is blurry. That made one or two look cool but mostly it's just annoying.

Here's we go:
