DI rig for In Ear Monitors

My current gig requires fairly low stage volume, and as a result we are using in ear monitors. I typically have a nice Aguilar rig provided, but it's a challenge to use it so typically I'm just going direct.

What types of DI's are people using at the moment for this type of application? I have a great set of ACS IEM's and a sure pack, but would like to improve the tone I'm getting in my ears as well as sending direct. I've been using the Aguilar tone hammer pedal, which hasn't helped much. Any input?

Depending on the particular Aguilar amp you might be able to use it just as a DI with no speakers attached?

I often use my TECH 21 VT Bass Deluxe with no amp and IEMs. The TECH 21 makes very convincing tube amp tone. Highly recommended.

This is an older thread, but I have been having good results from the new Ampeg DI box.

Besides sounding good, it's got some other really useful features that I like as well.
