Since your bridging cable (should you decide to try things that way) will look like any speakon speaker cable DO mark it so you know what end of the cable goes to the bridge mount on the amp and that you know its a bridge cable not a regular speakon.
A quick and slick way is to use colored shrink tubing...My bridge cable is a bit different than yours, since my amp doesn't have a common bridge output, but it looks like this:

Red for channel one, green for channel 2. Black and blue shrink for stress relief and to cover where I've stripped off the outer layer of the cable and keep it secure. I certainly won't mistake this for a common speakon.
