Did I just screw myself up?

Since your bridging cable (should you decide to try things that way) will look like any speakon speaker cable DO mark it so you know what end of the cable goes to the bridge mount on the amp and that you know its a bridge cable not a regular speakon.

A quick and slick way is to use colored shrink tubing...My bridge cable is a bit different than yours, since my amp doesn't have a common bridge output, but it looks like this:

Red for channel one, green for channel 2. Black and blue shrink for stress relief and to cover where I've stripped off the outer layer of the cable and keep it secure. I certainly won't mistake this for a common speakon.
 
Good question. The amp is almost as big as the top of the 410. Maybe just put the 12 on the floor next to the 10.

I'm gonna stick with this combo for now and see how it works out. Will try running both cabs through one power output (NOT in MB mode) to get the 4 ohms. I'll figure out the stacking arrangements.

I still can't get over the fact that these small cabs are capable of putting out some serious crank. Will find out for myself soon.

They'll move some air, that's for sure. Think of it as the equivalent of a sweet 410 rig. Don't expect it to take on an 810 is all I'm saying. :p

Thanks Chris, I actually read that thread a couple of days ago. Every component will have its pro's and con's. Can't please everyone.

This rig, being that it's already so compact, should be just fine even with the stacking issue. They're confined to such a small area of the stage that I don't see it making a noticeable difference in volume no matter where I put the 212 (either on top or on the side of the 410).

If you put them side-by-side, you'll notice when you move off-axis. I suspect you'll have similar problems even stacked, but you'll reduce them as far as is possible, especially if you have the long cabinet up on its end.
 
Head unit is the 4 PRO, and its specs are as follows:

OUTPUT POWER RATING 1600 Watts Mono-Bridged @ 4 Ohms (1200 Watts Continuous)
1200 Watts Mono-Bridged @ 8 Ohms (900 Watts Continuous)
2 x 900 Watts @ 2 Ohms (600 Watts Continuous)
2 x 625 Watts @ 4 Ohms (490 Watts Continuous)
2 x 350 Watts @ 8 Ohms (300 Watts Continuous)

SP410 specs:

4 ultra-lightweight 10" Neodymium loudspeakers (300 watt)
Impedance: 8ohms
Output: 1200 watts

The SP212 is:

Impedance: 8ohms
Output: 600 watts
Weight: 44lb.

Let me see if I have this right...

If I need the most power, I'd use the mono-bridged output of the amp > SP410, then daisychain from SP410 > SP212. Are both cabs now running at 4 ohms each with an amp power output of 1200 watts thus now sending too much power especially to the SP212?

Two x 8 ohm cabinets linked in parallel provide a total impedance of 4 ohms to the power amp component of you head (not 4 ohms each, 4 ohms total). When it is "pushing" against this impedance in bridged mode, the amp delivers a maximum of 1200W continuous, 1600 W peak (according to the specs provided). Because each cabinet has the same impedance, each will receive half this power (i.e. 600 W continuous). Each speaker in the 212 will see 300 W, each speaker in the 410 will see 150 W, which will be ample to destroy the drivers should you so wish!

Bottom line -- once you have them hooked up, LISTEN to them. If they start to sound bad as you turn up the volume, turn it down again. Not confusing at all.

The only reason I asked this was because of the response I received from Loud Tech Inc. whereas I would considerably be "underpowering" the cabinets despite the 4 PRO specs they were provided with. They did not give me a scenario where if I hooked up both cabs using the mono-bridged feature would supply enough power to destroy the speakers.
