LOL I took my bass into my small downstairs toilet a few times. Nice acoustics in there so it sounds really loud ^^

I fell asleep with my bass once but it fell off and woke me :/

One of the advantages of playing on the toilet is that if you're playing unplugged you get a good volume to hear what you're playing...

I only fell asleep playing my bass once...I was trashed..went home plugged in and started foolin around...I woke up and the bass was laying on the floor with the practice amp just humming away like some sort of alarm. Poor big red had anice knick in her after that one.

I've played euphonium on the toilet. Haven't tried it with my tuba, though. Might try it later today.

I did fall asleep IN BAND CLASS with my euphonium, though.

There was one time I was in a uni practice room, waiting for a friend to come in and play with me. After a few minutes I sat on my amp....warm room.......next thing I was woken up be a university cleaner having slept three hours, cuddling my bass.

The bass is an okay replacement for the girlfriend when she's not around, though no bass will keep you warm like a human body. I have slept next to my bass on many occasions, usually after some 4am epiphanies (they always come to me real late at night).

Last night after I got off of work(at 3 AM), I was sitting on my couch watching TV and writting a new song...next thing I know, my phone starts beeping telling me to wake up. I stood up and had to act quickly to catch my rogue P copy before it fell off of my lap because I was still half asleep. I'm beginning to think that directly after a 16 hour work day, I shouldn't try to play bass. So far, I've dinged the finish near the output jack by dropping it, and went to take it off forgetting that the fan was on...at least I only own cheap basses, so I'm not too worried about minor stuff like that.

Ofcourse I have slept with my bass... It's good to have something to hold over the night =) I've also slept with my guitar... but that wasn't nearly as good as sleeping with bass

I have fallen asleep - or nodded off - while practicing very early in the morning. This is while sitting in a chair (and I always strap my basses on, even when sitting).

I have never fallen asleep with one in bed or anything.
