I've slept next to my guitar quite a few times. I'll decide to take a nap some time in the afternoon and the guitar is still on the bed where I put it when I'm not playing it and it isn't in its bag. Nothing too weird there.

I've come really close (like dozed off for a minute or two) and then moved the bass to a nearby chair and went to bed...I would hate to wake to a snapping sound and find myself spooning with half a Conklin.

I've also played on the toilet.

Played a show at a pub last saturday and during one of the encores I decided to go for a bit of a stroll, something I occasionally do.

After going out front onto the dancefloor for a bit I went down the little corridor behind where we were playing.

I reached the gents toilets and pushed the door open with my bum, then stepped inside, to the general amusement of the audience.


That was as far as I went as I was about at the end of my lead, I didn't "take a seat" or anything.

I'll need to get a wireless system before I can do that.

plenty of times..often the same as you, just played untill i fell asleep..a few times at festivals ive slept with the mexican J to make sure nobody touched it..

and of course mr.pastorius used to sleep on the beach with his bass, rather than a hotel..contrary from popular belief it wasent because he was a maniac (although he certainly was..) he slept on the beach because he diddnt mind it, and he wanted to save money to send back home to his family..

and we all know about hendrix sleeping with his guitars in his hands...
