Sure! Biggest one I ever caught! It got my sheets all slimy, and I couldn't get the smell out of my room for weeks.

After one late night out, I went to bed with what i thought was a Sadowsky, but when I woke up it turned out to be a beat-up old Squier.

Uhhh no... But I can remember a few times during Naval field exercises waking up next to my M-16. Not the best-looking thing I've ever slept with, but I did feel a bit safer for it otherwise!
this is an odd topic...but yes i have slept with my basses, they are always thee for me in the morning lol

How does monogamy play out for those of you with multiple basses? Do you sleep with one while the other is in the room or do you lie to them and say that they're the only one?

The other part of that story is that the rhythm player was already in there (sans instrument).
We played two songs back-to-back for the encore, then decided to do Louie Louie as a finale.
The rhythm man said we could either wait five minutes or do it without him, 'cos he was desperate! He disappeared and we did it as a four-piece.
It turned out that he had a case of food poisoning and had spent the last few numbers of the set trying to control himself, in case he had an embarrassing moment on stage.
THANK YOU!!!! I thought I was the only one who's ever done that!!! Everyone picked on me for it. I brought it riiiiiight into bed with me.

hi all, so... the question is , did you ever slept with a bass??
last night i was playing a bit unplugged to warm up my fingers and so... laying flat on my back, in my bed.... one thing took to another...
kidding...
the thing is that i woke up this morning with the bass still over me... without strap or anythin, i just sleept the entire night hanging to it... i wish i´ve dreamed i played... lot´s of practice time wasted if not!!!
it´s note the first time something like this happens... usually its just a nap... "siesta"... it never happened like this night...
by the way, its a solid body jazz bass... no f-holes jokes please
All the time. I have played myself to sleep on many an occasion. Until I got married, of course...
I took a 'siesta' after lunch the ther day laying down playing unplugged with my jazz... dad woke me up asking me what i was on :confuseD:
I like laying on the lazy boy slightly reclined with the bass and falling asleep while playing nonsense on the bass. And I must agree, it sounds awesome to play while taking a dump.
