Difference in Dunlop flats 40/100 vs 45/105

Thinking about changing from Chromes ECB81M to Dunlops.

Tossing up between the 40/100 and the 45/105 sets in medium scale.

Has anyone tried both gauges?

I’ve used both. Are you familiar with Labella DTF’s? In terms of both tension and flexibility, I’d put the 45’s on a par with DTFL’s, and 40’s more like LTF’s, if that makes sense to you. Also, once well broken-in, they resemble them sonically. I like both sets. I should mention that I use the 5-string sets and both the 120 and 125 B’s are some of the best medium scale flatwound B’s I’ve found.
