Double Bass Different Adjustable Bridge concept

I just read this thread, but it looks like it died out. What's the verdict?? How well does it work / not work? How does it affect the sound? What's the affect of the "bridge" between the legs? Is it worth $129 or should a guy look to the traditional "two wheeler" ?? I need an adjustable bridge, but I'm waiting to find out how this thing shakes the bass world. The choices are; one wheel, two wheels, or 8 wheels (individual string height adjuster bridge. I would sure like to get the best one on the first try or perhaps I should stick with the fixed bridge to simplify? Plays the same every time!

Idealy, fixed one is best, but: roockies don't know which string height they want, you're gonna change strings or style, and ambient humidity varies wildy between winter and summer. So adjustable is advisable. Two aluminum wheels type is most common. Some have ebony wheels. The one wheeler and the eight wheeler are still experimental. Do you want to experiment ?
