Digitechrep: Bass Whammy shipping yet?

Where the hell are the bwhammys?! That chinese new year delay excuse is the biggest load of b.s. I've ever heard. They've been "on the water" and in customs now for over 3 weeks? B.s. as well. Keep waiting on a cheap chinese toy chumps!

The bass whammy is not the only item that had to be cleared for the shipment to the USA in regards to Digitech, it would cost to much money and not be worth it if the only thing that was being shipped was the bass whammy.

I've dealt with new releases too many times to fall for the same ole clichés. Cost, customs, shipping troubles. In regards to digitech, I would think the bwhammy is going to be their money maker. Why do we, the consumers, have to wait for their other crappy products to ship with them? Here comes another shipping cliché....save it....

What I stated was not a company cliche at all. Obviously you don't understand the basics of cargo coming from abroad into the states.

The shipment of bass whammy pedals does not revolve around that pedal only.


The bass whammy pedal is not the only new product that people are waiting for from Digitech.

Maybe, just maybe, someone at digitech is the most compassionate person on the planet. And he realizes that unleashing a device that allows bass players to assault peoples ears with bass dive bombs at crappy bars across the country at 2am, is not the best idea. Even if the tool guy in tool uses one.


That said,I'm pretty stoked to get mine too. I might not bring it to band practice or shows. But hey, maybe the guys in your band really do love it when you take a pitch shift solo, ya never know.

This Digitech Rep comes on here all the time to update us with information and it's really nice of him. He doesn't have to do that for us. He or any other rep at Digitech can't make them get here any faster. I don't know why you wanna sit and bash them and blame them for this and that. I am just as excited for my pre-order to get here as anybody else but they will get here when they get here. There is nothing anybody can do about it. And is it really gonna kill you to have to wait? You have been going without it this long. What is another week or two.

Coincidentally (and thankfully) I just got an email (literally a minute ago) that the first shipment of Bass Whammy's have finally landed on our shores! They should hit our distributor's warehouse in the next day or so, then on to dealers. So we are looking at around a week or so before people start seeing them.

So it looks like RightinTwo462 should throw hissy-fits more often, stuff magically appears!

Jwr, I believe it's eventually going to be a wide release. I could be talking out of my a** though too. I never heard anything about "limited edition" or anything. I've heard "into production" though. So I'm guessing once they get flowin through shipping, they'll be out there. I also know my order is paid in full and locked in through SW, so I's happy. I'm not used to waiting for pedals for more than a week, but I had to let my patience win out on this one, I didn't have a choice. I cooled out once the march 4th didn't hit.
