I won't fault you for not having an intimate knowledge of the midi programming on the Bass Whammy and Whammy V, but do you know (or would you be able to find out) if they're similar? As in, would a midi controller device programmed to work with the V be compatible with the BW? I'd assume so since they seem extremely similar in that sense, but it never hurts to ask.

Also, when will the manual be available online? Thanks.

Midi implementation on the BWhammy is exactly the same as the Whammy V.

I spoke with SW Friday and they mentioned the shipment should be in by Tuesday. My rep should have called me if they shipped.

BUT....like with this whole process, that is an estimate as well. Haha

Well, the fact that SW doesn't even have tracking from the manufacturer on their own incoming shipment doesn't seem too promising to me. man, I'll go crazy if we don't get a confirmation this time. I know we have no control over all this, but it doesn't make it any easier at times.

Still no update from SW on the whammy but I've been buying from them pretty often lately because i have the sweetwater of card, i do want to mention sometimes even if you ask them to call when they get an item in stock they don't. Never got a phone call for my power amp which wasn't in stock when i ordered it. The best way to tell is just to go to their page and log into your account. Just checked mine, the whammy is still under "shipping soon"

I talked to my rep and he's sending me a paypal notice (my original 1/23 preorder payment authorization expired) as soon as they get them in so i can officially "pay" for it again.

Would not be surprised if these are spotted at GC in-store before any of the online stores start shipping them out. That has happened with quite a few DigiTech releases in the last year or two.
