Anyone else see this one? It makes me think of the sky on a summer day by the ocean.

That one is pretty awesome as well, but then I guess they all are, after all!!
Ok, I feel like I'm a bit odd and I need someone to explain my thoughts to me...
While I dig the Z and the Sklar and I'd be thrilled to death to have one, I really prefer the lines and the overall shape of the Afterburners. I can't really explain why, I just do...![]()

That is because the Afterburners are fine basses.Ok, I feel like I'm a bit odd and I need someone to explain my thoughts to me...

That is because the Afterburners are fine basses.I like both the Z and the ABs. I forget, did you say you had played a Z? I like the neck just a tad better.
For what it's worth, I have two of each, and when I am playing them, I don't really notice the difference other than the weight and maybe the one mmI've not played a Z, so that's a thing I need to try and accomplish. Still, the lines on the Afterburners just move me...![]()

What about access to the highest frets? Is it any easier on the AB?For what it's worth, I have two of each, and when I am playing them, I don't really notice the difference other than the weight and maybe the one mm

I love them both equally, but the ABs are more financially attainable for me right now, so that makes the AB my favorite between the two, at least for the moment!Ok, I feel like I'm a bit odd and I need someone to explain my thoughts to me...

Yeah, "treble" side access looks the same.
The fretboard on that Z is....drooldrool
Still, I just like the AB better. It looks more...symmetrical, or less asymmetrical. I dunno. That's probably not a very good description. My eyes just like the way the lines on the Afterburner flow.
